I don’t know if its the time of the year or what but lately the go to albums in my phone are usually David Francey’s. Specifically, The Waking Hour and Right of Passage. Not a bad song on either album.
Scottish-born Canadian David Francey is of today’s finest singer-songwriters. If you are not fmailiar with his work and like Folk/Americana with just a twinge of gaelic inflection checking him out is a must.
David’s straightforward songs tell honest stories of real people and real places. Poetic perception and a keen eye for the heart of the matter are trademarks of the man and his music. His songs and stories are a direct connection for audiences seeking depth and meaning in the day-to-day
